Kendrick Lamar- Kendrick Lamar is an artist who has been influencing or attempting to influence society. He released an album called “How to pimp a butterfly, (which I have 2 signed copes off) and this album is a response to racism, violence, and police brutality. The song “blacker the berry” is in response to the Trayvon Martin case and he has many other songs which touch upon important topics. Kendrick goes around many schools, as a matter of fact he visited my brother’s high school, High Tech High school and had a seminar to talk to the students, followed by a quick performance. I think Kendrick is a positive influence in today’s society.
