Natalie Portman is an Oscar winning actress, and she is also a strong activist and advocate for environmental change and feminism. She used her platform to advocate for change, and produced/ narrated a documentary called "Eating Animals", which touched upon the problem of mass production of animals and the health risks that it comes with. Regardless of her being a successful actress, she is also very educated since she is a Harvard University Alumni which reflects on the fact that she is not only talented but also knowledgeable and her ideologies should be respected. Along with being an environmentalist she is also a part of the Times Up Now movement which is an organization that insists on safe, fair, and dignified work for all women. Portman has spoken at The Women's March in Los Angeles earlier this year, and is constantly using her own social media to promote these ideologies to her audience. Portman does not only use her talent and knowledge to play a character, but she uses those tools to fight for political justice and to inform others of the dark realities of our society.
